No one is insulting you. I think we're all trying to help you understand what is actually happening. You can only solve training problems once you actually figure out why the dog is behaving in a certain way. Don't take it so personally.
The mere fact that you get it now suggests that you should come back for advice since it was clearly helpful for you to see what you were doing wrong.
