At 5 months he/she is still going to be in the puppy stage with plenty of energy and probably still working on house training it's pretty much a great age and if it has been with the mother it has probably been taught it's 'manners'. There will be less worries with hypoglycemia, although I'm sure it's not completely nixed. And that's pretty much what I know but just be careful that you get him/her from a reputable breeder to make sure you get the best quality pup, but if you post this in the breeders section they will probably give you a lot more information. look around this site too it's packed full of amazing info. Good luck and congrats on the new puppy!!
