Well....we have had baby #2 for almost 5 months and are just now finding that we are able to be on the couch with Cooper and Maddie not crawling up to get right in our face every time trying to push Cooper away.
She still likes to take part in the cuddle time but Cooper doesn't mind sharing. Cooper is not the cuddle-bug your Buzz is though. I think she would have been, but Maddie made this impossible.
Maddie 2.5 yrs so I guess it has taken her a while to realize whe was not being replaced and figured out she is not going anywhere once we brought Cooper home.
I will admit my relationship with Cooper is not the same as it is with Maddie. Maddie is still the 'baby' but Cooper just loves life so she is always happy!
That makes it much easier.
