I chose (well, it's more like they chose)to go w/NB because it's grain free & has lower protein. As some have stated, some Yorkies do not do well on a high protein diet.
I highly disagree, Dog Food Analysis (DFA) rates foods based on the quality of ingredients in the kibble. For example:

Artemis=5 stars=23% crude protein
Acana Small Breed=4 stars=33% crude protein

In this case, Artemis having better ingredients w/ less protein has a higher rating than Acana which has more protein.

I love the way DFA knit picks all the ingredients and lets us know if there is enough meat in the food we feed, and for hidden fillers disguised by other names. Again, this is just my opinion but based on the statement above, it's not always true. But in the end, it's all up to what works for your pup and what you feel confident in feeding. I also only feed grainfree and Acana Grasslands (5 stars-33% protein) works great for US.
