Oh wow, that does sound like a major ripoff and ineffective teeth brushing IMHO!

I am no expert but I think we attempt to brush them as we would our children or ourselves. Of course each dog will vary on tolerance but knowing that these little ones have a tendency towards teeth issues, I recommend doing more than that!!

I am not sure it is the MOST effective however, Zoey likes the toothpaste and chewing on the brush. I hold the end and move it up, down and sideways on both sides and front (is a 3 sided brush) and we do this for about 5-10 minutes.
