I don't understand, you say it is not the case with yours, that he is 8 weeks old.
That IS the case, had he been left with his mother for 3 to 4 more weeks, he would have learned.
You get him to stop, by doing exactly what his mother would do, she would snap at him, and his siblings would yelp nd refuse to play with him.
Their mothers are much better teachers, because it is their only job and they do it 24/7 consistently. They potty train them and socialize them.
