i've heard after 24hrs, light walks are just fine. apparently they just don't want lots of running and jumping around until the sutures are healed. that was the advice my vet gave me after spaying my min pin, who was about 3lbs at the time. needless to say, keeping a min pin's activity level low is next to impossible.
