When you mentioned Cesar Milan I could not help but chuckle when I recalled an episode where someone had a larger dog that would not hold his tail up while gaiting. Cesar had the guy tie a rope to the dogs tail and walk the dog with his tail being held up with a rope. It worked, before long the dog was relaxed and moving with his tail up. |
While I thorougly enjoy Cesar and putting aside he sides with PETA and HSUS, his training is marevous. But, I also remember an episode where he was working with 2 yorkies.....and stated that it was the hardest breed he's ever worked with. These little guys get something in their head and it's tough to get it out. I am an advocte of clicker training, it's pulled dogs out of some tough situations.......
