Default What's this weird thing Chester is doing?

So DF and I noticed a month or so back that Chester's back has become more sensitive. As in, when we pet him, it looks like he is really sensitive to it. Not in a bad way like it is hurting him or anything. Just a reaction from him that shows he really enjoys it. Sometimes he acts like we've hit a sweet spot and his leg will go, go go. My other dog Roscoe has a sweet spot on his lower belly and when you scratch him there, his leg will start going like crazy and he loves it. It is kind of like that with Chester sometimes.

This morning I was brushing Chester's fur and everytime I ran over his back/side, right over his left back leg, his whole body shook. He doesn't act like he's pain or anything. Do you know when you get the chills or something and your whole body shakes really quick? That's what Chester is doing. It's quick and he only does it when I hit this one spot with the brush. BUT this isn't like Roscoe's sweet spot. It is a different kind of shaking. I can't explain it real well because I just don't really even know HOW to explain it.

I've examined his back a few times since he started all this hyper-sensitivity thing and don't see anything. Any ideas on what it is? I don't want to take him to the vet for nothing, but I don't want this to be some sort of problem I have no clue about and have it develop in to something worse.

He has no health problems, he's a year and a half, healthy weight, etc etc.
