According to the handler that taught me, grooming, handling and presenting a yorkie......the reason for yorkies doing fine on the go around and on the down and back, but dropping when they come back to the judge is the yorkie begins to think to much.......how to circumvent that is when presenting the yorkie & just before you get to the judge, before you stop pull out your toy, stand to the side and get the dog's attention. It works. Whether or not the judge counts the tail dropping is dependent on the dog, how well it presented itself and how showy it was before that point.
