My neighbor friend has had two Papillons. This is the only experience I have had with the breed, and that is limited.
Her two were agressive in nature; not with her, but anyone else was not able to enjoy them, even her dh. The were owned at different times and she had her Cocker Spaniel, Bells, with both and Bells did not mesh with either...
I think Pippen is adoarble, however, and hopefully she will love Sophie too.
