We have a Papillon, Scout, he came as a foster and dh decided Scout needed to stay. He's bigger than Pippen by about 3 pounds. Also, he's bigger than my two yorkies, but I've never had to worry about the size difference as he's not aggressive at all!

Scout has the best personality, extremely friendly. Everyone that visits here absolutely loves him (my yorkies have always been a little stand-offish when it comes to strangers) and Scout loves everyone that walks through the door.

He is also a very smart dog, has been easy to train, loves playing and is the most loyal and caring dog. He follows me around all day, if I leave the room, Scout always is a step behind me (unlike the yorkies).

As Cerise mentioned, they do shed somewhat but with daily brushing (which I'm doing already with the yorkies) it's kept to a minimum.

From my experience a Papillon does great with a yorkie and Pippen is a lucky girl if she finds a home with a yorkie loving owner!

Good Luck!

This is our Scout at about 6-7 months.
