Sadly two people our kids knew (one since high school) committed suicide in October within a matter of days of each other. They didn't know each other that's just the way it happened. People are not made to use manners or be polite anymore. They are allowed to say anything to anyone using the freedom of speech to fall back on. I still say if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all. Better yet reach out to the person picked on and see if they really are what people are saying. Sometimes they turn out to be your best friend. Don't be so quick to jump on the band wagon the people who started it may be WRONG! Give people a chance till you meet them for yourself.
