Hi Viv...I haven't tried the Primal bones, only bc if I give raw bones, I usually just get the ones in the grocery store - but the Primal bones look fine to me, just a little more pricey maybe? Whole Foods, btw, does sell "bones for pets" too - if you have one near you.

If the bones have marrow still in them, I tend to remove pretty much all of it as it is soooo fatty - bc of yorkies' propensity toward pancreatitis as a breed.

Personally, I do think it's okay to give these smaller dogs the large REC/WRECK bones bc those bones are SO big, that a yorkie can't even really do any damage to the bone or their teeth (in *my* experience, I should clarify).

So, the difference is -- you can either give Rec bones for recreation, or consumable bones (i.e., Raw Meaty Bones (RMBs) w/ all the meat left on if you want them to have the bone and meat as one of their meals.
