the fecal covers all parasites so if negative it is negative for all - just had this done for my maltese as she had blood in stool for no apparent reason had inhouse fecal, lab fecal and culture done all came up negative so we ruled it stress colitis which could be the case for yours. Just call vet and confirm coccidia was part of fecal but it should be. You could do one fecal each week for 3-4 weeks as our internal medicine specialist says that is the only way to really confirm it is not giardia as it is hard to pick it up sometimes so she recommend we do this but the bloody stool stopped and my other two had no issues as giardia is very contagious
