That is why in our rescue we feel that all pups should be with us for a while before we consider placing them. When we first get them we have no idea what they will be like. |
I agree. I think we have to treat these little ones just like a human when they transition over to a new home. They need a little space but need to know they are safe. The only thing in this case was did you do a health checkup on your little one? Our rescues (even if they came in with great medical records) always went to the vet within a day check to make sure nothing was wrong with them.
