Nothing wrong in finding homes to new born, but you need to make sure you wait until the right age, about 12 weeks or older to send them home.
A great thing about having homes for them already is that you can have the future owners come in several times and socialize with the puppies before you send them home. And you may develop a great relationship and make new friends too.
