This sounds like a great idea! I am not sure if you have met yet, since it has been some time. The rotating meetings sound more interesting to me. We would have an opportunity to explore different areas, so it could be like an outing for us as well. All the places mentioned sound like fun. We are northwest of Orange County/Long Beach border and there are small dog parks in Huntington Beach, Long Beach and I heard Manhattan Beach. The first could be Palm Springs since Kimberly SRN started and it is so nice there in the winter; we could even see the desert flowers. Temecula... wine tasting? Are there any dog friendly wineries? San Diego, so much to do out there. Hesperia, you get some snow there. So many other places! Let's do it. OurTobey is ten months and he is afraid of other dogs. He backs off and later as they are going away he likes to follow. There are mostly large dogs at the parks around here. C.
