Missy is 3 3/4 lbs and Dora (her sister from a different litter) is charted to reach 4.5 lbs. I like their small size. It did take some adjusting to get use to (I have 3 kids ages 4-7) but we all learned how to do the "Yorkieshuffle" and are really careful with them. We have certain "rules" the kids have to follow. The first few months of owning our first Yorkie Missy were stressful. It was an adjustment phase as far as everyone learning how to handles a tiny Yorkie, but now it's second nature to all of us. I love their small size. I'm sure I would love them just as much if they were bigger, but I wouldn't trade my little furbabies for anything in the world. |
