I highly recommend the porch potty. You can spend the money (about $250) and get the frame and grass patch or just spend $45-$50 for the grass patch alone.
Winston has been using it since I first brought him home. It is a similar texture to real grass so there is no confusion. He didn't really get the pee pee pads so I skipped those and went striaght for the grass. I took a few bricks and placed a border around it and he goes in it every time! I use it b/c I live in an apartment and sometimes getting outside isn't always the quickest option. All you have to do is pour a couple buckets of hot water on it to clean it every couple days.
