So what if your dog doesn't look like a show dog. Personally I like ears that flop down (more like a doggy than a wolf!). It mostly depends on genetics, the weight of the ear flaps. I too worried so much about that when rexi was younger. No, I look back in retrospect and see how unimportant my worries were. I would spend the time to train my dog to use a litter box. Imagine how much easier it is on them when they don't have to hold back constantly in stress while they await your return
