This is *such* a great post/thread and I've been wanting to comment on it all day, but have been so swampified !

What you've posted is really important bc isn't "Human Grade", essentially, just a marketing term...at the end of the day?

I think the bottom line is, and what Dr. Rebecca Remillard says so succinctly in the link you provided is this: "Pet food manufacturers may use ingredients that are designated as fit or unfit for human consumption. There is no such USDA or FDA term as human grade."

Wow, interesting. So, who wants to volunteer to contact some of our favorite pet food companies and ask "Is your product FIT or UNFIT for human consumption, bc human grade has no real definition or meaning according to USDA or FDA standards...?" -- I would love to hear the answer!
