I have 2 Yorkies. My female is in heat and hase been receptive to my male for about 5 days and he has been constantly mounting her but as far as I can tell he has not penetrated. I find this odd considering he mounts her at least every couple minutes. She is still receptive to him but is now begining to growl a little bit. Is there anything I can do to ensure they tie?

Any help would be great.
