have you thought about maybe just keeping his face and legs long and keeping his body short. My dog doesnt actually mind being groomed but her hair is just not easy to keep nice, and honestly I dont want to put her through it. Her facial hair and leg hair is very soft and fluffy and doesnt require lots of brushing...Its a great hair cut and I think she looks adorable.
