I've been wondering the same thing about my pup. When I got her at 7 weeks, she was 32 oz. At 11 weeks, she was 58 oz ... almost double! I've seen someone else here post that their pup was the same size as mine at 10 weeks, but only ended up at 5.5 lbs as an adult, so you just never know how closely they are going to follow the growth charts at all.

I got my previous Yorkie when she was 9 months old. She weighed 4.5 lbs then, and you would think that she was almost done growing at that point, but she ended up at 8 lbs!

I'm not worried about my girl being overweight, her shape is fine and I can easily feel her bones in all the right places and can tell she is quite skinny. I'm just concerned that growing too fast might cause a problem with her joints.
