I agree with Breny. If she was more comfortable in the room you might want to try using it again. I use to raise pit bulls, and we'd build the pups a large square box out of wood. They couldn't get out, but the moms could easily get in, and out as they needed. They were happy with the arrangement, and so were the pups. Best wishes.
