Maybe start by carrying him the bathroom while giving treats. Then begin to put him in the tub without water a few times and feed him treats in there. Hopefully he will begin to associate the tub as a way to get treats. Try just giving his feet a quick bath--like you would if he was in mud. I think this is a situation that you need to approach very slowly. Also, I would file his nails with an emory board so that he can't scratch you. Keep me posted.
