Yep, it's a crate Like I said, I'm no expert but I do know that there are both hard plastic and wire crates. You can see that the puppy owner has put padding on the bottom so it's nice and comfy inside. I got my Baxter a wire crate too so that he can be in there and still look around at what's going on - and if he wants privacy, I'll drape a blanket over it. Dogs love their crates because that's where they can go get away from it all when they need some down-time. I'm at my parents' house for the holidays right now and I'm sitting next to their Doberman who is curled up in his crate, door open, taking a much-needed nap. And he put himself in there.
Anyway, didn't mean to start a disagreement - I just wanted to throw in my $0.02 because I can tell that the sweet little puppies in the above videos are well cared-for. Again, I encourage you to do some searching about crate training on this site. You'll find people like me, who agree with the method, and others who think it's not the best. |
