no i think your right....I have read this somewhere too. I was looking up grooming tips and I believe this was included. Keeping it short on the paws to make nail clipping easier and I'm pretty sure that it said if the paw hair gets to long that it could be painful? Please correct me if I'm wrong bc I could be having a senior moment too hahah
