Gizmo and Hershey didnt have to stay overnight. They werent allowed any food past 10pm then we dropped them off at 7:30 in the morning and we were able to pick them up anytime after 3 which of course we were there at 3 on the dot! LOL!! Oh and they also had remaining baby teeth pulled while they got neutered!
So I wouldnt think your baby would have to spend the night unless thats just your vets procedures.
