Well, we have 10 birds and 6 dogs and for the most part they all do ok together, but we do have to watch them! My smaller birds are allowed out everyday to fly around, but of course since they are full flighted the dogs can't reach them. One of them, though, has no fear and pretty much has all the dogs taught to not mess with her!! She bites them, lol! It's kinda funny to watch her walk around on the kitchen floor and the dogs just stay out of her way.
My larger birds (a macaw, 2 african greys) don't fly and I watch them very carefully so if they end up on the floor, we scoop them right back up on their stands, so far so good! |
