New to this site and very glad I found it. I have a 8 month Yorkie X (Long haired Chihuahua) She looks a lot like a yorkie thou.
What I need help with is. When we go out and we are putting her away. She stays in a bedroom with her kennel & toys. While we are getting ready to go out (getting our coat, keys, putting kennel in room ect) she gets very excited barks, paces and barks. She goes in the room as she knows where to go and does not try to come out. But as we close the door she gets so worked up we think she is going to have a heart attack.
Also if only one person leaves she also gets very hyper and barks and very excited.
Does any one know how to break her of this?? we would like her to be able to be a little calmer when we leave or even one person leaves as it would be easier on her.
Thanks in advance
