Rawhides are unsafe for our little babies. They can chew off a piece and swallow it and since they are not 100% digestible can get lodged in the small intestines, and would need surgery and can even cause death.
Bully sticks and other products like it are made of 100% dried beef tendon, from various parts of the animal. You can find them easily on the net, try entirelypets.com they are a fave of mine. Sign up for their emails and they will email you with coupons and free shipping for over $25, etc. They just had a sale on Merricks products (still may be on sale) and I stocked up a years worth of wishbones and got free shipping too!
