I have a suggestion if you haven't thought about it already. A member of my company, an out of state branch, had a very sick three-year-old niece. He did a broadcast email to the company asking for prayers. It went viral and he got much more than prayers. There were donations from bake sales and raffles. It was huge, like this thread.
So how about everyone that is in Florida, send an email with Cookie's picture and information out to their companies and/or people in their em address books? It should spread throughout Florida, and you will have thousands more eyes looking for Cookie. You will really broaden your search. I know you are in the newspaper, but more people read email these days than newspapers.
