how small is the baby? the important thing is to keep the baby WARM... like between 85-90 degrees. nothing kills babies faster than getting chilled. Make sure the baby is nursing. if it has a problem latching on to mom, put a drop of either nutridrops or caro syrup on the babies tongue, then try to help it latch on.
