She is adorable, but I also don't understand why they would shave her nose! That is such a hard part to grow back and I'm always so happy when my puppies grow their coats long enough that the hair around their eyes and nose isn't sticking up everywhere! I have a wonderful groomer who comes to my house to help me out and she only does exactly what I want and has since Kalina was a baby!
As for the matts, I have found a wonderful product and for the first time in my Yorkie life we are pretty much matt-free. It's the olive oil spray that you can find in the ethnic hair section. You can spray it on wet or dry and it really works - it's like a miracle. My breeder told me about it and she heard about it from a well-known breeder. I love this stuff. It does make them look a little greasy, but it works!! It's really wonderful right now on 18 week old adolescent puppies!
