That brings back such memories..
I'm allergic to everything! Cats, dogs, trees, grass, pollen you name it...
As a kid, especially in the summertime I'd be home with a warm washcloth over my eyes swollen shut because of my allergies...I'd itch my eyes to relieve the itchiness and yet it would make it worse.
My body has been immune to allergy meds for so long and when I noticed my oldest son go through what I use to have to endure as a kid, I decided to take him and myself to an Allergy Specialist and get tested. It's been a few years now and now we only have to get monthly shots. (we use to have to do 2 shots twice a week). I still sneeze and sometimes my eyes itch but nothing like it use to be.
Ever wonder if cats know or sense you are allergic and they want you to pet them even more? My best friend has cats and everytime I would go over to her house they would try to nuzzle up on my leg and get close to me.
Funny thing is they wouldn't do that to anyone else!
