Same here. Ruger was peeing and pooping outside, then it got really cold and he'd kinda run out and back in without doing anything. Heck, even I don't want to go outside. I put the pads where he pooped, and for the most part it worked. He still poops in places I'd rather not have him, but fortunately he's so small the mess isn't too bad.

I'm hoping in the spring I can put in a dog door and get him to go out on the deck. It's one floor up and should keep him out of the snatches of predators around here, coyotes and foxes.
