A: The person that gave me Molly said she was fixed but I don't see a scar. Is that normal?
B: Molly if I don't hold her and just sit on the floor she will rub her back against me or the furniture. Again is that a yorkie thing?
C: How much and what do you guys feet your yorkies I am using Iams at the time.
D: What kind of vitamins do you guys use?
E: Molly also does not drink much, at least I think she does not drink much. Again is that normal? But she does pee.
I think that is all for now.
A. There is not ALWAYS a scar. Do you have her vet records to be sure? You should deffinitely make sure though so that you do not end up with a preggo pup!
B.Yesssss- mine do that too!
C. Again, Iams is not the best food.....I feed my babies CANIDAE. It is AMAZING. ALl natural and they LOVE it. You can get it at Feed/Supply store, all natural pet food stores, and some boutiqe pet stores. My vet reccomended it as one of the best foods you can buy and it is just that with my experience. And it is very reasonable.... like $12-$15 a bag, so really not much more that Petco food
Also, I free feed my yorkies. I just leave food out for them all the time so if they are hungry it is there..... with them being so small I worry about hypoglycemia and stuff.
D. I don't give mine vitamins, but the treats I buy them have lots of nutrients. I buy WELLNESS puppy treats.
E. Make sure you monitor her drinking as much as you can. I never thought twice about how much my little man was drinking until one day when it was too late. He was acting very lethargic and wouldnt play or eat. SO I took him to the vet and he was SEVERLY DEHYDRATED!!!! It was very scary. He was very sick and it was very very expensive to re-hydrate him. They had to inject him with fluids. It was terrible.
I keep a dropper.... the kind that comes in baby tylenol..... handy so that when it is hot or when they aren't feeling well I can give them water by hand just to keep my mind at ease that they are getting enough water. I may be over protective, but I do not want them to go through that again. My puppy also gets very car sick and vomits, so when we get home I will give her a few ounces of water from the dropper just to make sure that she has fluids in her after throwing up.
Just look at her water bowl and make sure that it is getting empty

But... as others have said.... if she is peeing then she MUST be drinking!
Goodluck with your new baby!
