I posted a couple of days ago about a 8yr old yorkie that I adopted. It is the most tedious thing trying to figure out what she likes!! I bought a bag of Science Diet...brought it back cuz she frowns at that. I bought 3 different flavors of Cesar and she ate one kind and frowned at the other 2. I got some assistance today at the pet store and bough Nutro Ultra for seniors (Lamb and Rice)...she basically licked the juice and didnt eat the meat. I know she is hungry because she sniffs the dishes and then walk away. She is still trying to eat my cat's food, but I had to move that high, so she wont get to it. Any ideas of what else to try? I really dont want her to be hungry. She only ate one piece of the Ultra after I literally forced it on her.
Oh...she also has kennel cough which I am just watching as told by the vet. If she is not better by Monday, I have to bring her back to the vet. But I dont think this is what is affecting her eating. She drinks the same, follow me around and LOVES to go walking or running I should say.
I just think she is picky...
