The tied to you leash idea is great! another tip that worked great for me was training during mealtime. When they are good and hungry, and train with just plain kibble, so they don't need the extra "junk food" of treats. (Not to say all treats are junk food, but you know what I mean.)

Definitely agree about training during mealtime. It makes it so much easier. Oh--yeah--you'll be on your puppy's schedule lol. It's such an exciting time for you! I think it's super that you are so informed and are asking so many questions too!
