I lived in Arizona for 10 years and we had lots of cougars come out of the mountains for food....I have seen many pictures of them killing desert rabbits which are about a Yorkies size and I have never seen them play with their food...cats do but a cougar. When I look it up on line on the feeding habits of a cougar they don't say they play with their food either.
