Thanks for responding, ArmaniMan! Ours weighed in at about 7.5 lbs on his last vet visit. He's not thin by any means, but we wouldn't say he's overweight either (you can feel his ribs pretty easily). The vet didn't say a word to us about him being overweight, so I'm pretty sure he's doing okay in that department. We feed him a total of 2/3 of food per day.
I read about the green beans and carrots and thought that was a great idea. We will definitely be adding those to his meals. That way he's getting more, low calorie food, instead of high in fat dry food. |
