Pregnancy last anywhere betweeb 59 to 70 days.
I have my babies docked and duclawed on day 4. some people prefer day 3, I like to wait one more day for the blood to clot better.
I dont take my pups out for that, I have my mentor and my son, come to my house and do it here, I am going to dock my next litter myself.. now that I saw it done I know I can do it... I like the clamp and twist method, rather than the cut and stich method the vet's use. but that is just my preference. to register your litter you need the mom's and dad's AKC registration number and you can do it online thru the AKC site.
