I let the "kids" decide for themselves. They are sooooo close to the ground, and it radiates the chill. I do try for a good 5 minute romp, a couple of times a day, where they are active, then I announce "p p time"... everyone squats, and heads for the door.
They all have little snow suits, so if it is chilly, but not windy, they do better.
Trust your gut, if it is too cold for you, in your housecoat
, its too cold for them, in theirs!
