The day I learned that ammonia and alcohol strip the linoleum, I changed to vinegar and hot water.
That same day,
Bodhi rebelled by pottying in the old wee-pad locations (sans wee-pads) instead of
on the wee-pad in the current bathroom location.
I use vinegar as a deterrent to chewing on furniture. So, it deterred him from going where he should go? Guess he really hates vinegar!
The next day, I used a few drops of bleach in hot water to clean the bathroom and vinegar/hot water where I
didn't want him to go.
Problem solved.
