Default Nutering issue please read.

I took my at the time 10 month old yorkie max to get neutered. All appeared to go well. Yesterday I noticed a little lump on the side of the cut and on the other side what appeared to be a stich just trying to peek out. I did touch it to see how it felt. And I did agrivate it because the lump got bigger and turned a little red. I took her back to the vet she did say it was an internal stich that did not fully disolve. She tried to get it out and aggrivated it even more. She said to bring him back and she is going to put him under and remove it. Now from her poking around it looks like he got a little infection. She said put bacitration on it and bring him in Monday to do the procedure. How does this sound I am worried of my choice in the vet. Does this sound right.
