Thanks to all who answered by plea for tail docking advice on a 19 week old Yorkied.

Special thanks to Wendybee for the picture of Rosie with beautiful tail (we had a Rosie, a Yorkie, for 17 years). And to Lilfoot for the story about screaming puppies--that put my head on straight! And Julz, when all is done with my new puppy, I'll give you the short version of her "breeder". Atia isn't exactly ours yet--complicated but I'll try to shorten and make it interesting!
