My first yorkie, Manolo didn't really seem to go through a teething phase when she was a puppy. For the first 9 months we had her she never chewed up anything to the extremes or merely at all. I thought it was a blessing considering my first puppy ever(Maltese) had such a bad teething phase I thought I could die!
However, after 11 months, Manolo started chewing up things. I noticed she had a particular fondness for soft plastic textures. So she has a nylabone. I'm considering those Himalayan Chews, I have a feeling she will love them. |
