I found a very long worm one time in my first puppy's poop. This was a day later he was dewormed. I called my vet and told her that I found a long worm in his poop, and she just said, that's because we gave him a dewormer yesterday...

I felt kind of foolish after that... but I was just as concerned as you seem to be. The worm I found in his poop was dead of course. Not sure if your worm is dead.

But I suppose it's pretty normal for it to pass through it's poop. No worries.
